Oklahoma City, OK – The Global Directory of Who’s Who proudly recognizes Ron L. Magnus, Esq., for his exceptional career in law, public service, and community leadership. A retired Legislative Counsel for the D.C. City Council and former General Counsel, Mr. Magnus has made a lasting impact in the legal and nonprofit sectors.
He also served as General Counsel to the Gospel Music Workshop of America and has been a driving force behind cultural initiatives, including his role as Chair and Producer of the Gospel Music Heritage Association’s Annual Event at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
An ordained deacon at New Bethel Baptist Church, Mr. Magnus has been honored with proclamations from the mayors of Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Atlanta, as well as community service awards from the NAACP and the National Forensic League. Academically accomplished, he holds a J.D. from Howard University School of Law, an LL.M. from Georgetown Law, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma. He is an avid traveler and sports enthusiast who enjoys football, basketball, and reading.
